We are so pleased with Manor Lake/Athens and how the staff operate the facility. My mother is in the memory care section, and I am so thankful for their kind and considerate care they provide. The memory care director, Samantha, is fantastic in her concern and quick responses to any needs and concerns of the residents AND their family members. The way they deal with the special requirements of memory care is much appreciated!

Would not recommend! Director of this location in Ellijay Ga is not a concerned people person! After many meetings with corporate explaining the problems and situations to corporate no changes were made ! Be advised,.. not a good facility!

I can't say enough about Manor Lake. We didn't end up using them as my mom's health took a turn for the worse and she passed away much quicker than expected. However, the amount of insight provided by Dr. Deraney was priceless. I wish my mother had stepped out of her house and into this place as I think her lifespan would have been extended had she made the move. Ultimately her decision was to stay at home and sometimes I wonder if I could have pushed harder or been a better salesman, then things might have been different and for the better, but the assistance from Manor Lake was stellar. In fact, I left from this experience with a plan to move into something like Manor Lake when I get older many years from now, hopefully.
