Im in town for my mothers surgery and was needing to get one of her pain medications filled. Since we live out of state the doctor gave us a written prescription. I had called 10 other pharmacys in the area and had been inside two trying to find a place that had the medication she needed in stock. Turns out that medication is on a national back order. I called North Fulton Pharmacy to see if they had it in stock so I wouldnt waste time driving there. The male pharmacist that answer the phone told me they had it but then told me I couldnt fill it over the phone because they would need to have the prescription. As I tried explaining that I understood that and just wanted to verify before making the drive the man interrupted me multiple times and wouldnt let me finish my sentence. He kept telling me over and over that I couldnt fill it over the phone even though I wasnt even trying to do that. I finally raised my voice to keep him from cutting me off but he still wouldnt listen and then refused to fill the prescription and said they now didnt have the medication. He was extremely rude to me and talked down to me while I was just simply trying to ask a simple questions that plenty of other pharmacies were able to answer. In all my years working in healthcare Ive never seen someone act so disrespectfully by cutting someone off while talking and then purposefully withholding medication to someone in need. This is unethical.

I always get exceptional service from this pharmacy. They always call me with in 24 hours of my doctors order if not the same day and always go an extra mile to meet my moms situation. Very informative pharmacist with professional attitude.

Very disappointed with my visit a couple of weeks ago. If I get frustrated with an issue, I usually dont write a review for a little bit because I want to think about the situation and do some homework. My doctor sent in a prescription to his friend who has a pharmacy very close by. Maybe that should have been a red flag ? When I went to pick up the prescription, he would not take my insurance, Good RX, or any other discount opportunities I had. Another red flag!? This guy charged me more than retail ($350.00) for a genetic prescription that unfortunately, I could have gotten for less than $25 at CVS and they had it in stock, after I had to do some homework. I had never had this prescription before but I felt pressured to get it and go because I was from out of town and had to get back home. He really didnt care and said take it or leave it! After the fact, I called my doctors office and was told that he did take insurance and I told them what happened & to never send my prescriptions there again. Good luck and do your homework before you go to this pharmacy!
