My depression worsened after coming here. They didnt let you talk about anything because of a fear of triggering the other people in the group therapy. Which is just not how group therapy works. I was 15 so i should have been with the older kids, 14-17, but I had a feud with one of the people in there, instead of working it out with us (you know, like in therapy) they put me with the 11-13 year olds. If you are in the area, I recommend the berman center. It is a great place that really helped me and a bunch of people I know. Ive seen people bounce in and out of pyramid, but never in the berman center.

This place is a rip off. I had to pay for my son to get an "assessment" by someone who wasn't even in his insurance network, though the facility is and she's right there in the same office. Cash only. I told her he was in mania and she completely ignored me and let him into the program. 2 days later they said he needed more intensive care after an incident that happened with another patient. I would think they would think this kind of things would happen with those in mania and be prepared for it. They said he could come back after he went into treatment but then changed the requirements. They told me he would have to go into a $4000 a month sober living! Then they refused to refund the assessment fee. It's a scam! And good luck getting them to return a call.

Terrible communication will start when you make that first call. That is both in office staff and counselors. We had a lot of transition with counselors. Didnt even get a family plan done until we were there for over 6 weeks. They say 3 hour program, but they always start 15 minutes late and end 15 minutes early. That burns when you are paying through the nose not to mention some sessions they watched a movie for 2.5 hours, played games in parking lot, and things that my daughter even asked how is this helping. Yeah I get it, cant always be counseling and they need fun things to relate to the more complicated things but the overall communication and counseling is terrible. Basically they are there to drag you along to get as much out of you and your insurance. Great business if you are in it, but terrible if on the other side of things.
