Our room was clean and homey. The only problem we encountered was at our initial check in. I made the reservation over the phone, Owen sent me a confirmation email with the total and confirmation number. When we first arrived to the hotel we went to the front desk to check in, and to our surprise the lady at the front desk was extremely rude . I was not told about the $75 dollar deposit, which I was okay with paying; just wanted to be sure I understood what I was paying for. Her exact response to me was its in fine print, read it. Instead of arguing with her, I just paid the amount she requested. She handed me our room keys, with no information on the hotel; she didnt even tell us our room number, tell us about the breakfast times or if there even was one. If she wouldve taken the time to be helpful or informative, she wouldve atleast listened/ or looked on the email I tried to show her; that I had NO information about a deposit, that the amount due on my side said different; or even what the hotel offered . I understand if she hates the job she has, but as a couple who needed a night of peace from our busy every day lives, the greeting we received made us regret booking this room.
