Meritage Homes - Atlanta

Been trying to get standing water issue resolved for a while now and I feel like theyre trying to brush it off and not fix it. Also, Ive reached out multiple times to get a light switch panel that doesnt fit properly fixed as well and that still hasnt been resolved yet and its been months!! These are items still under warranty.

This construction company is the worst to sell, they treat you like a king but to cover the guarantees they are the worst. My air conditioning is damaged and they wash their hands, I have been without air for 1 week and they don't give me anything to solve, I bought my new house in 2021 and what a lack of ethics, and the wooden floor in my house was installed poorly and I have the 2 years I have spent claiming the warranty and they don't care about anything other than selling and getting paid. Brenna Taylor is my representative I try to talk whit her but never can't and just send emails and does nothing. Do not go through meritage to have your home built. They dont honor the warranty inspection timeframes, its really hard to contact anyone from the warranty teams even though they rushed to build these homes. I really regret my decision. I suggest Kerley Familly homes for this area or anyone else for that matter.

I am in the process of starting an application to purchase with Meritage and going with them simply because they did an amazing job in building 3 of my siblings homes in Florida but these reviews here are very discouraging and now I am truly afraid to move forward with the. I also wish their communication line can be much better, for 3 weeks I have been waiting for someone to answer my questions, the incentives are not very clear, it applies to some homes and does not apply to others but you do not know which ones it does apply to. Today, I decided to drive back to the community and met the entire Meritage team there from the construction mgr to the mortgage branch mgr to the rep Taurus and boy it was an amazing experience. I am so relieved, they all stopped what they were doing to answer all my questions to my satisfaction and Taurus the rep spent time showing me the models available, answered every question, told me all the incentives and even took all my contact info so he can send me more info. I am extremely satisfied with the way they all showed up to help me decide. How about I am sold on building with Meritage homes at Willowcrest .
