Im so happy with my overall experience! The staff was friendly and informative. The day of surgery I was relaxed knowing I chose Dr. Anderson to preform the hair transplant. They make you comfortable throughout the procedure. The first week of healing I was swollen but no pain. The second week I was still swollen but it was starting to go down. By the third week I was out and about doing my normal routine. Im currently 8 months out and I couldnt be happier with the results. The new growth is established and looks great. So happy I did this procedure with Dr. Anderson.

Hello, My name is Marcus Moon, and I am 30 years old. I began losing hair at the age of 22 years old. I noticed my hairline was receding and my crown was getting light. At the age of 28 years old I tried using Keeps and I found the product didnt help with growth, nor did it prevent hair loss. In January 2023 I started researching my options to help with hair growth and hair loss prevention. That is when I found Anderson Center for Hair. In my first session I was told that I was a great candidate for a hair implant. February 2023 the Anderson Center for Hair performed surgery on my hair. The main area was my hairline. The nurses were nice and kind. I was told exactly how the surgery would go and the team answered any questions that I had. I was put under for the surgery and I didnt feel a thing. I did eventually wake up and it was time for lunch. They do provide lunch (Jimmy Johns) and it was great! I think after any surgery/procedure you are hungry, so it came in handy. I didnt feel woozy or out of it. After eating I then was put under again and the procedure continued. I didnt feel a thing and didnt wake up until the procedure was all done. The next day I didnt have any pain and was able to wash my hair very lightly. After a few weeks I was able to wash my hair fully and began to use the Auxo A150 to help with hair loss prevention on my crown. I would say after two or three months I started noticing my hair coming in and it looked natural. Once I got a haircut everything was even and thats when I can say I was happy with the procedure. My hair looks totally natural, and I look about 10 years younger. This procedure was well worth it, and I think its important that folks remember it does take time for your hair to grown back. Also, you need to trust the process. Make sure you are buying the Auxo hair cap and liquid hair drop medication that helps with hair loss prevention. Thank you, Anderson Center for Hair!

Dr. Wetzel performed my Hair transplant surgery three months ago. About eight days after the surgery, he politely asked me if I would be willing to write a short testimonial about my experience. Writing a testimonial is not something I am really excited about doing, but I remember how the testimonials I read were helpful. So, I decided I would relay the details of my experience. If you do not want to take the time to read all that I have written below, I will sum it up in three short sentences here. You are in good hands with Doctor Wetzel. The staff and facilities at Anderson are excellent. I would do it all again. For those of you who want more information about Doctor Wetzel: Dr. Wetzel has a great personality. I first met him via virtual consultation. I really appreciate his sincerity and professional manner. He did not just give me generic answers. He took the time to answer the questions I asked thoroughly and honestly. I remember one specific question I asked regarding if he placed all the grafts. He responded that he did not. The staff placed the grafts, but he made all the incisions for the grafts. Instead of just saying yes I place all the grafts which is not how it usually works. You want the doctor to make the incisions to ensure the hair direction and density is correct, but it takes a team to get the surgery done in a timely manner and provide the best outcome for graft survival. This question-and-answer session was a completely dissimilar experience than when I had consulted with another clinic. The doctor at the other clinic I consulted with made me feel like I was being sold a used car. I would also like to add that Dr. Wetzel is overqualified to perform hair transplant surgery. I searched the internet for information about Dr. Wetzel and found that he trained in Pediatric Neurosurgery before transitioning to hair transplant surgery. I cannot imagine the stress and burden of doing that type of surgery, especially if anything went wrong. Compared to that, doing hair transplants would be like a walk in the park. Overall, I am very satisfied with the hair transplant procedure and the care that I received. I would highly recommend Dr. Wetzel and the Anderson team to anyone considering a similar procedure. Honestly at this point, it is too early to tell if my procedure will produce the desired results. The initial grafts fall out between two to eight weeks and most people do not begin to see new hair growth until six to twelve months after the surgery. But I can say that everything that I have been told to expect has been spot on, and I feel like I am dealing with an honest group of folks that want to do an excellent job and care about their reputation, and your results. I will post a follow-up in three months.

At 51 years old, I became increasingly bothered by growing bald spot on the top of my head. I hadnt even started graying; however, I was losing my hair, and I felt that the way I looked didnt match my energy nor did it make me feel good when I looked in the mirror. I had been applying Rogaine for years, and while I do believe it slowed the hair loss, it certainly did not prevent it. I started researching options on the Internet, quickly dismissing all the miracle hair growth gimmicks, and I then started calling hair restoration clinics in the metro Atlanta area. I spoke to no less than six different doctors/clinics, and only one felt truly consultative, understanding, patient, and willing to take the time to answer all my questions. The others felt transactional looking for a quick yes and without regard for the anxiety I felt committing to the process. Aside from the financial commitment, I travel extensively for work, and I was concerned about the post-transplant process and how I could make it all happen without missing work. Too, for me, it was important that nobody knew that I had the procedure. It took me almost two years to commit to having the hair transplant procedure (I wish I had committed sooner!). The only doctor that made me comfortable from the get-go was Dr. Anderson at Anderson Center for Hair. Dr. Anderson and his staff were so accommodating from the first consultation and made the entire experience a breeze. The team was in constant communication with me, always available to answer my questions, and Dr. Anderson was involved in every step of the way. The team went out of their way to alleviate any anxiety I had with regards to the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Anderson and Anderson Center for Hair. The results are there, the team is outstanding, and you will have peace of mind to go along with a fuller head of hair!

Overall, I had a great experience working with Matt Longshore and Dr. Wetzel. I chose Anderson Center for Hair & Aesthetics out of all the other facilities in Georgia because they actually requested that I obtain a pathology report to identify if any scar issue was present on my scalp. They wanted to ensure that the hair transplant would lead to good results. Otherwise, I would simply be wasting my money and time. The fact that they required a pathology report before scheduling me for a hair transplant made me feel very comfortable. Most of the facilities that I met with in the past never even requested a pathology report. When I initially met with Matt Longshore, the Director of Patient Counseling Services, he was going to schedule my hair transplant with Dr. Lee. After looking at additional images of my scalp, he decided to schedule me with Dr. Wetzel due to the nature of my hair loss. He stated that I would need more grafts than what he initially anticipated and Dr. Wetzel would be the perfect doctor for this type of hair transplant. Although this delayed the process a bit, Im glad that he took the time to further evaluate my scalp. The operation did go well. I experienced a lot of bleeding the first night, which is normal. My face ended up swelling up about a few days after the operation for about a week. There was some bruising under my eyes to the point where I didnt feel comfortable leaving my house. It took about two weeks for my face to go back to normal. My scalp was itchy and sore in areas for about a month. My scalp is still somewhat tight in some areas even after two months of having the operation. I experienced new hair growth in the grafted areas after the first month, which will vary per person. My only regret is not asking enough questions about what to expect after the operation. The office does a great job at providing thorough post-op documentation. However, you should ask the necessary questions regarding what to expect during and after the operation. This will help you with determining when to schedule your hair transplant. I scheduled my hair transplant right before Christmas because I knew I would be off from work. On the contrary, I couldnt really enjoy the holidays with my loved ones because I needed to heal and wait for all the swelling/bruising to go away. With all that said, Im happy that I did finally decide on getting the hair transplant. Its still too early to speak to my results, but I would definitely recommend Anderson Center for Hair & Aesthetics based on my experience thus far.
