Moeller Purcell Construction Company

Sadly, this is not the review I hoped to leave for this company. I was referred by my franchise area director for build out of our day spa. My first issue came after receiving the initial quote, 30 days later when I was ready to proceed the same quote increased over $40k. After questioning the quote, the final total came down $15k, still $25k higher than first quote. Next, one of the subs stole 6 of my newly purchased office chairs. I was not offered any recompense for this. Floor work was shotty in the lobby and had to be redone. I also have an entire door in a frame left behind that I cannot dispose of due to the weight and fees. Several broken promises of removing, but nothing. Finally, one year, and too many calls/texts/emails to count later, my guest toilets are still not working properly. One toilet is not level and we have water leaking from the base often. 2 weeks ago the one of the owners personally offered to make sure we got some help. Nothing. If youre a woman owned business or have less than a million to spend on construction, find another company. This company appears to only be concerned about big, god old boy dollars.

I used Moeller Purcell Construction to build out our Franchise store in Dunwoody. Working with Scott J. on the quote was great. He is a Mechanical Engineer with 25 or 30 years of experience. He provided such a comprehensive industry perspective for the project. He was able to align with the architect (E3 Design) and the Franchise Groups requirements, finding places where I didn't need to improve along with pointing out cost savings using existing features. Once the quote and permitting process was complete a Project Manager was assigned to me. Shannon H is hands downs one of the most competent, capable, and knowledgeable people in this industry. She holds a degree in construction management and I feel that Moeller is lucky to have her. The project was on time (amazing!) and would have been on budget had the permit office not requested modifications. The trades respected her, she kept me informed, and I was able to focus on starting the business, not the construction. We passed the final (and all) inspections easily. My store is (just about) ready for business!
