so let me start by saying this to the negative people who left bad reviews if u had a bad experience with this place its because u went looking for one. Huge shout out to all the staff and nurses Laura your the best i had a great experience here and like i said earlier Its going to be what u make it. The food is amazing the nurses are amazing you can tell that they care and want to try and make u as comfortable as possible throughout the DETOX process. I am glad that despite reading other people's negative comments that i decided to give them a chance and see for myself as i already know that if i am not happy they CAN NOT MAKE ME STAY but as stated before the negative reviews was not the case for me i had a great experience and i watch and pay attention and every person there was treated exactly the same as i was the dating for sunrise detox center really should be at least 4.8 if not a full 5 anyway thank you sunrise for a great experience and u definitely deserve a higher rating at least for this facility idk anything about the other locations i am sure there equally as great as the alpharetta one

My son just left Sunrise yesterday, and he absolutely loved everything about this place. Thank you all for being so great to him during his detox. He is so happy and and back to his old self. I have my son back. God Bless you all. He was sad to leave.

This place is terrible. I literally saw the nurse practitioner once in the whole two weeks I was there. The techs are rude and ignored me if I had a question. They acted like I was bothering them. They have no compassion for anyone. I felt alone and scared. If I needed to speak to a therapist it was next to impossible to speak to someone. The whole experience was horrible. Everything is so expensive. We have to pay for our snacks, laundry supplies, and phone minutes. Detoxing is hard enough but these people treated me like I was invisible. I have good insurance too. As much as they are getting paid for my treatment they could at least treat me like I am human. They also talk about other patients right in front of everybody. Hippa laws mean nothing here. Dont go here if you dont have to. Im sure at one time it was nice but not now. Ok thatss not true. You have to have your family members put money on a card to use vending machines and get cigarettes. Also you have to pay for a phone card. I think they (nurses and staff) have favoritism for certain clients. Its ridiculous. Also many times I went to see the nurses and stood there while they completely ignored me. It was like I was nothing I have ever seen. And yes they do talk about other patients in front of everybody. Yall take advantage of people who are at their lowest point in life. Make them feel even worse. Im clean and sober now thank God. But not because sunrise had anything to do with it.
