I highly recommend Dr. Glover. I had my first kidney stone in 2004, and I have been using the same urologist office (I wont name names) since 2005. For the past 16 years I have been told over and over that there is nothing that they, or I, could do to prevent me from forming stones. Last year I ended up in the ER with a stone the size of an olive, and it was supposedly crushed. A month later at my follow up I was told that it had come back together in my kidney, and there wasnt anything they would do about it. After a year of dealing with chronic pain I decided that enough was enough, and I found Dr. Glover. My first CT showed that I still had that same (now much larger) stone in my left kidney, 5 huge stones in my right kidney, and some smaller stones as well. Dr. Glover not only has crushed them all to where I am actually able to pass them, but we found out that my body doesnt produce the enzymes necessary to process proteins. It sounded scary, but it is treatable with the proper medication. After I am finished passing these there is very little chance that I will develop another kidney stone if I keep my levels where they need to be. I fully believe that the Lord led me to Dr. Glover, and for the first time in 17 years I have hope that this isnt something I just have to live with. Dr. Glover is also an ordained minister, medical missionary, has a discipleship program for ministers, and has founded a program in Africa called SHIELD which helps to strengthen their healthcare system.
