I am a veteran. Jay prides himself on being a veteran as well. He NEVER picked up the phone to have a conversation with me from the moment that my realter referred me to him. He only communicated with me once even though I was trying to get approved for financing. Last I checked, most veterans operate with integrity. He never returned my calls and his assistant would only speak to me through emails. After the 2nd email, she told me that they couldn't help me. Unfortunately, I referred a very close friend to my realtor who also uses Jay. Her experience has been tremendously stressful and Jay apparently did her the same way. He doesnt communicate well, and his assistant made a $3K mistake delaying her closing which left my friend very dissatisfied. I am writing this review in support of her. A home buying experience is supposed to be pleasant. We all know that it can be stressful but my experience and my friend's experience with this lender has been unusually bad.
