We have had the most amazing experience at Montessori at Brookstone. Our first born has been attending since he was 3 years old and will be graduating at the end of this school year. The development we have seen has been nothing short of amazing. The structure in the classrooms and the montessori method instills a love of learning. Having a Primary classroom with ages 3 - 6 allows for the younger kids to learn from the older and the older to learn patience and leadership skills when teaching the younger. The consistency of one teacher for several years cannot be emphasized enough. The teachers have a true passion for what they do and have been at the school for 20+ years will very little turnover. We didn't even try to put our second born in a traditional daycare. We wanted the same consistency, small classroom and so much love and attention as we have had with our first. And Montessori at Brookstone is where we know she will get it. My friends are amazed at the things my children can do at their respective young ages and their manners, and general respect for others is truly a testament to this incredible school and staff. We cannot recommend this school enough. Thank you Ms. Grier and Team for continuing to show passion and love for our children every day.

My older son started here when hes almost 4 and hes 5 and half now for Kindergarten. He loves the teachers and wants to go to school everyday. Hes also thriving academically. My 2 year old will attend this school soon.

Choosing to send our kids to Brookstone Montessori has been the best decision weve made. Our oldest son started thriving within weeks of his transition to the school and is above grade level in many subjects now that hes in elementary school. Our youngest son is also thriving and extremely independent thanks to the independent learning style that comes with a Montessori set up. The children are also in class with kids in a variety of age groups so they learn to interact and help each other with lessons.

We absolutely love this school for my son. After taking him to a different Montessori school for a trial week, where he wasnt treated with kindness it is a HUGE breath of fresh air to bring him to a school that is filled with teachers that he loves AND that love him. I feel 100% comfortable leaving him with them. The front office staff is also very knowledgeable about each student and just so kind. My son is very reserved and takes quite a while to warm up and the teachers are so patient and loving with him as it relates to that. Not to mention the learning that he gets here on a daily basis. Its immense. Everyday he says hes learned something new. And Im so amazed at his advanced learning. He is 3 and reading. I can go on and on but I will end it here. I love this school. Its like a small family and was the perfect decision for my family and I.

This was a terrible school. First, after attending a few sessions of this school my child came home and started shouting STOP TALKING in a firm angry voice. This is not something my wife or I have EVER said to our child (inside voice or turn the volume down are things we do say). I can only imagine they learned this negative behavior at school. He also referred to himself as a bad kid, which again is not something we have, or would, ever say to our child. Again, I can only surmise this is something they are repeating from his school experience. It makes me wonder what other rudeness they are saying that my child did not repeat. One thing that attracted us to this school was the student to teacher numbers. But the school has expressed that they must spend too much time with my child, and it is taking away from the other students. But after watching the classroom video monitors for 4 hours straight several days in a row. Our child received a high of 6 minutes of individual attention in a day, which includes but any disciplining and teaching. While a group of 4 students set off from all the other students received 80-90% of the teachers attention throughout the day. Additionally. The principal is both overtly religious in her opinions and words. While I firmly believe in freedom of religion, and individual right to free speech, I did not intend to provide a religious education to my child. The principals constant asking children for hugs, also makes me uncomfortable. We teach our children to not interact that way with strangers, and having a person of authority hug our child within minutes of meeting is inappropriate.
