Please bring back physical books to class and have the students use their hands to actually write and take notes. Digital is NOT the way to learn! Teachers agree as well as any parent that cares. Please really consider a better way than what is currently being done. The teachers I've met thru the years share my request, why are we not listening to them? Parents that claim digital is better please ask your child to solve a math problem on paper that requires several steps to get an answer. 70% of our children cannot do it, is this how we are to prepare them in life? I've had my kids here since it opened and then corona forced everything to be from home and that was a disaster we can all agree on, so why keep the same method of teaching if it doesn't work? Sure they are back in class but the method of learning is the same. Why? Is it easier for the schools? Is it more budget friendly for "supplies" in your ops costs? The curriculum is good but is not well executed. Kids are even finishing the school year without learning everything assigned to that year. That is a fact. I wonder how many of the kids will have to attend summer school this year again. If it was not broken why fix it? Why change the way that is proven to work and that your caring teachers know how to execute. This school has to be better than public schools, is why we love it here. Is it currently better? Please, please I beg all of us to really sit for a second and think what works best and come with a solution together on how to best move forward. Every year teachers leave this school, why is that? What happened to all the other reviews that were there? Deleted? I think this is perhaps the only way we can all have an open brainstorm and share our opinions. Either way, I hope my opinion is at least considered by as many as possible, specially knowing that this is shared by so many but somehow for some reason is kept oppressed by so few. Please don't missunderstand what I'm trying to voice and I do like the school and my kids enjoy it here. I love the amount of dedication you have for the safety of the children. Please, just remember to also focus on relevant communication and execution so that you continue to be the best choice for the education of the children in the area.
