I was directed to Gardner Audiology quite by accident when it was discovered that the original office I was to use suddenly stopped accepting my insurance. The office itself is small and rather under-imposing, being attached to another larger medical office and reached by a side door. But once inside where the really important stuff happens, all is very professional, clean, organized, and inviting. Prior to my visit, I was frustrated with the lack of communication between the various referring offices to Gardner, but, Kendra, the office manager at Gardner, put a lot of time and effort into making sure things got worked out and that I received the testing I required. Thank you Kendra! Dr. Jodi Conter was excellent throughout the diagnostic procedure, friendly and thoughtful in her approach, listening to my concerns and explaining the nuances of the testing process. At no time did I feel rushed or undervalued. The test stepped through various levels of diagnosis and the results were shown to me and explained fully with all my questions answered. Dr. Conter even provided additional information pertaining to my specific issues and underscored that any treatment down the line would be contingent on a full understanding of the underlying causes. It was obvious that this practice shares my own belief that the best health care is based on conservative practice and patient specific hard data. All in all, I will certainly trust Gardner Audiology and Dr. Conter to further audiological needs should that become necessary. I recommend this practice highly.
