Cypress Campground & RV Park

Lived there for 9 years.I really loved the place everyone was so nice .The park is well kept and clean. Magners we supper nice never had any problems.We would live to move back but they don't do long term anymore. Ken and Alicia.

I want to give this park the best rating possible, however its very hard to rate them more than 2. This was our first experience at being a snowbird (we were so excited) but we could not have picked a more terrible place, and we would have left the next day but they refused to refund the 3 month payment in full. At the check in process we were not greeted with a smile just tossed paper work and demanded additional information without a please or thank you let alone a welcome. Only 10 days prior to arriving we received a call stating they required a background check for each of us totaling $80.00 NONREFUNDABLE. We had this reservation for almost 1 year prior and that was not disclosed at the time of booking or on the website. This park is very old and from the minute you drive in you will see it looks very junkie. The park is also a storage lot which only adds to the deplorable look. The online presence does not even come close to depicting the true look of this trailer park. They state they have a dog park but its in terrible condition and no dog lover would let their dog in that pen. Its disgusting!! They also boost being pet friendly but all over the park it states NO DOGS ALLOWED. We were training a USA Certified service puppy and all they can say is keep the dog on a lease! The monthly calendar is loaded with daily activities BUT new comers are not welcomed just stared at. Events we attended introduced ourselves where met with a cold shoulder from everyone. Poker, bingo, potlucks, exercise class.everything. Many residents have been there in their rvs for 10 plus years and it looks like low income senior living. We found the park to be unwelcoming. Our neighbors where rude, hateful and acted like they had some find of clout in the park because they had been coming there for years. I cant even tell you how mean the Boyles where to us. They advertise premium lots (concrete but NONE are available) and the concrete is so broken its a terrible trip hazard for anyone let alone a senior. The picnic tables are old and need to be replaced. Most all the lots are gravel-sand and very tight because they pack them in. Rules are for me not thee! Rules state the following which are ignored. 2 pets only, no clothes lines (HAHA), no outside appliances, no outside furniture, no outside patio covers and lots are to be kept clean and neat! The back looks like a junk yard! In closing Id like to add that our excitement for first time snowbirds was completely ruined by the terrible experience we had at Cypress Gardens. We were verbally assaulted for zero reason by a long term guest and management turned there heads and just kept an evil eye out for anything we did. Cypress Gardens where memories are madethats an understatement

We stayed at Cypress because we were visiting Legoland with the family. The location is excellent, just 10 minutes from the park. In addition, there are several grocery stores and restaurants nearby if needed, and it's also next to a Walmart. The staff was friendly throughout. The lot was level for our 25 foot motorhome. We felt safe and had no issues with the hookups. There seems to be some people that live there more permanently, and others likely come and go. We were also able to get propane fill up at this campground, which was great because we were almost empty. Great 2 night stay here, would recommend and be back if we're in the area. Thanks team!

Staff (and of our fellow campers) were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Kelli and Miguel were very informative and seemed to genuinely care about meeting our needs while we staying there. Centrally located in Florida, many of our destinations were a short trip away. We enjoyed it so much, we plan to return in a couple of months,
