A few days turnaround is the average unless a longer wait time for ordered parts is involved. Typical bill for a riding mower is $120-300. Labor costs are very fair compared to other shops billing $100+ an hour. The small garage-shed Jimmy works out of is minimal but can hold 2 large mowers at a time and he has all the tools required for any job; he can often fix things that would be deemed unfixable or too expensive to fix elsewhere because he may put 10 actual hours into working on an issue and only bill for 4 hours, depending on the situation. He fixed my weedeaters broken cord without replacing the whole assembly for $50.
