On Firestones own website they claim they work on transmissions. When I walked in the store I was told they do not work on transmissions. I called online to see if they would tell me which ones will work on transmissions and the lady literally told me that almost no Firestone stores work on transmissions, and that the website is lying.

Terrible experience, what was supposed to take 2 hours ended up taking 6 hours. Complete waste of time.

Such a great experience today at Firestone had my scheduled appointment made for 10:30am today for an oil change and inspection. Issac explained to me that it would take about an hour not even 30 min in they advised me that my vehicle would need 2 front tires and alignment. I asked how long it would take he told me about an hour and a half. Issac had me on my way within the hour. Will definitely come back here for feature service with my vehicle.

Had my vehicle serviced just to do the full alignment because I paid the lifetime service years ago at my old Military base. They couldnt find my records and wanted me to provide them a copy of my service records which its great I have in my vehicle. They even went as far as calling the old shop asking for the invoice number for my purchase when later came to light that it was in their system. Just a waste of time. Upon receiving my vehicle back the alignment was worse than when I first brought the car to them. A long wait and improper repair of my suspension. Had to return the car for another 30-40 min for a realignment. From that point on I had decided to not return to this location. The Pembroke Pines location also SUCKS and the Miami Gardens is terrible. No one can provide reliable, honest & reasonable services anymore. Following up April 5, 2024: Two months ago I was in a pinch and had a leaking passenger front tire. A simple patch was needed to take my car to these fools because its the only shop close enough to home to not cause a tire blowout en route. They checked the Tyre and came to find out how conveniently the new nail causing the leak is within 12 inches from the last patch on this same Tyre, I have noticed during my wait there is a note stating that 2 punctures cannot be patched within 12 inches ok company policy. So I guess I need a new Tyre now. Fast forward to April and my Tyre rotations are due so I do the rotation myself at Patrick Space Force base hobby shop and upon removing my front passenger Tyre that FIRESTONE replaced come to find out they over-tightened my lug nuts and became difficult to remove. I see and compare my other lug nuts and see that one is elongated by 1/2 inch. I had enough of these incompetent mechanics. Im an aircraft mechanic by trade and Im held to a higher standard because my repairs may cost lives these fools dont care if you get your car damaged or get stranded on the side of the road.
