I reached out to the staff at the Lindquist group back in 2010. Between 2018 - 2019 I got my first job with the assistance of Devon who was kind and supportive. Some years later I had 2 uncomfortable interactions with the 2 of the staff members that currently work there. Both lacking empathy and understanding. For reference, I have been professionally working in hospitality since 2001 starting at the age of 14, as part of a work study program. I have professionally worked in Laundry services, housekeeping, front desk, mother's helper, nanny, elderly companion, daycare teachers assistant, aupair, and English teacher. I have worked all over the states and abroad. I have paid my dues with years of hardwork. I currently am registered to work with some of the top recruitment agencies in the states and Europe. With that being said, I still have much to learn. From 2019- 2023 I had to take time off to care for my mother who had cancer and my aunt that had vascular dementia and COVID at the same time. I turned down important jobs, because I was the main caregiver for them both. Financially, and emotionally it was a difficult time for me. I was offered no valuable feedback, on how to improve my my skillset or even a short phonecall for a brief discussion. Both times, I was put off by the insensitivity of the current staff there. I am part of a network of nannies worldwide, that I will be sharing with, what happened to me during the two times I spoke with the staff there.

I have worked with Lindquist for over 20 years, in their NYC and Palm Beach office. My experience has always been great. They are professional in the process of the fitting a candidate to client. My latest experience was working with Brittany out of their Palm Beach office. She is amazingly personable and brings a very human approach to recruiting. A truly great experience! I had the pleasure of working with Maureen Richardson and the Lindquist group recently, and was incredibly impressed with the communication and scheduling process that went into my interview process. Maureen was especially good at navigating a busy family's schedule and working with all parties that were involved both in-state and out of state. This was by far one of the best experiences that I've had working with a placement agency. Having someone like Maureen (who was so conscientious) working with you makes all the difference for candidates like me and makes you speak highly of the agency itself.
