My son is just finishing the pk program here at SJS. This school has been a blessing to us and we cant wait for kindergarten at this great school! Theres a real sense of community and family with a strong emphasis on faith. Its an amazing place to raise our children.

I went to this "school" for 4 years. (now a sophomore in highschool) I think with that experience I can give an accurate review from the perspective of a male student. I will start off with the good things about this school: I guess the lunch was decent at best. Anyway, in this school you will find that on the outside it looks pretty good; but if you are a student, "learning" almost every day, it is a whole different experience. This school is a wild dog hungry for money. The teachers are terrible, I feel that it is safe to assume that about 80% of them were either fired from their previous teaching job or "first-timers". If you think this school teaches children better than a public school, you are mistaken. I, along with one other student in my class was accepted into Suncoast. (This year I noticed that the number of students from SJS that got were accepted into Suncoast went up by 1) Many of my other friends and students either got into PBC, PBG, Forest Hill, or settled for Cardinal Newman. As you can see, the probability of your child going to a "high-tier" school is very slim. Saint Juliana states that they teach their students the ways of Christianity etc. No. They mean forcing you child to go to church every Friday, take a class on it, and pray twice a day (I think). The only effect this had on me and most of my friends was that it made us not want to go to church or even hear about religion anymore. And since graduation in 2016, I haven't stepped a foot inside of a church. Also, a long with being inexperienced, the teachers there are bias towards female students. I'm sure of you take a poll of who liked going to saint juliana almost 100% of the female students will say yes while almost 100% of the boys will say no. This is because female students can literally convince teachers to do anything. I have a first hand experience of this, during I think 8th grade, I was given a conduct referral aka "pink slip" for apparently grabbing a girls granola bar. I was given this referral directly by a teacher without getting my side of the story or even asking me about it. There many other incidents where female students have done something and easily blamed it on the male students who get punished without question. So, to recap, 5,000 dollars a year (I think) for inexperienced and bias teachers who really do not care about their students, as well as the same if not lesser level of education that you can receive from public schools. I am not writing this review to bash Saint Juliana Catholic School, I am merely giving an insight into the perspective of a student, as could as it may seem. WARNING. This information that I have provided was 100% accurate during my time at SJS, hopefully they have turned themselves around in recent years, but I highly doubt it. But what do I know anyway, i'm just a student that endured the "school" that is SJS.
