Breakfast in Havana

This is the best Cuban food I have ever had. We love coming here. The food is always fresh and everyone so friendly. It can get crowded and loud but I will take that for the great food and friendly faces any day. Everything Ive had so far has been the absolute best!

I go to Breakfast in Havana 1 to 2 times per week, its that good! The empanadas have me hooked. Sometimes they run out of empanadas quickly in the hot case, but the owner is so nice that she tells the staff to fry up fresh ones for me! I really appreciate the kindness that is shown every time I stop in. Pictured is the cheese pasty and empanada. I like the Guava & Cheese pastry the most because of the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I can also highly recommend the media noche and the ropa vieja. The sandwiches are definitely big enough to share with someone. I will say, if you come on the weekend at lunch time, be prepared to wait for a table to become available to sit and eat. Its a popular place for a reason and I dont mind waiting to snag a table. Theres also the best music playing by Celia Cruz or Selena so Im in my chair dancing and eating lol.

Can't believe I didn't find this place sooner! Some of the best Cuban food I've had in Florida outside of Miami. Staff are all very sweet. Portions are huge. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior. This is a great place for breakfast. We stumbled upon it by chance and were happy that we did. The food is amazing, and don't forget to order a mango or guava juice (mango is best ), and definitely have a cortadito coffee (Cuban, strong and sweet). A must have. Their treats sell out quickly so come early.
