Really cool place not many people know about. Got a tour from Elijah, who did a fantastic job showing us the site and answering questions. Kids really enjoyed learning about the hatchery. Really amazing operation.

If you'd like to inspire your kids, or be inspired by the science and scientists of a working laboratory and fish hatchery, this facility is a must visit. You'll learn about the genetics, biology, behavioral modifications, and pathology required to successfully rear the fish to support Florida's Bass populations and sports fisheries. Free to the public. Confirm visiting days and hours with the website or office.
