Countryside Citrus Beachside & El Sid Taqueria

We have been buying your delicious ice cream for some time now, but recently it has been so unpleasant! On every family visit your staff has had the worst attitude. These young women have rolled their eyes, smirked and just have made us feel so out of place. I am not sure what is with the attitude, but their unfriendly disposition makes it hard to keep going back. Our last visit was Saturday, April 6, 2024 late afternoon for reference.

This place is advertised as a hot spot for tacos and icecream on the beach. Incredible combination, what could possibly go wrong? lol let me start by saying this is for sure a tourist trap. They are incredibly overpriced for less than average tasting food & not the most courteous staff. They are dog friendly tho, the atmosphere outside is really nice and the icecream was good. I cant say anything else good about this place /: lets get back to the disappointments; - no disrespect to the owners but do better at training bc the dark skinned girl at the register taking orders may as well be replaced with a robot. Zero eagerness to be there let alone help you make a decision on a drink, low key rude n rushed me w no line behind me n just robotic. Customer service did not exist within her. - a long wait is expected anywhere to eat on the beach; but over 45 mins for 4 tacos was pathetic. - the worst of all; the taco meat had zero flavor carne asada was so bland, the tortillas tasted microwaved n stale n also no flavor If we were not as hungry we would have thrown away bc it was truly the worst tacos we ever had in our entire life. Im deeply sorry if this sounds mean but pls take this as a grain of salt as we frequent taco trucks and are from Latino background, this was just not even on the scale to our standards.

Food was absolutely delicious, ordered the shrimp tacos, chips, cup of corn, and ice cream. 10/10 and the ice cream was to die for! Busy spot, but was able to snag a few seats outside.

We're return customers now, particularly for the tamales and empanadas. The soft serve is good as well (especially to take on a little beach walk). There's a bit of a wait, especially when busy, because dishes are made to order but we've felt it's worth it. There are some cute outdoor spaces to dine in, otherwise take it to go eat on the beach overlooking the water. Can't go wrong!

Usually this place is a five-star but today for some reason the tacos were very dry, almost like they were over cooked. Fish was very dry.
