Holmes Creek Camping & RV Resort

Holmes Creek RV Campground & Resort is a new up and coming RV resort with full hookups. Carlie and Julie are wonderful hosts, very friendly and personable. The pond was a beautiful site to wake up to outside my dining window each morning. A short walk down to the creek and they have kayaks available to rent. Be sure to check out the Parakeetaville as it was so cool to feed the birds. The owners are looking forward to expanding the resort, including adding a rec room and a swimming pool. Our T-Mobile home internet worked great, as well as Verizon coverage on our phones. There is not much in Vernon, FL, but there are a few local restaurants and a Dollar General. There is a Walmart about 20 minutes down the road in Chipley. Nana & Papas Country Market is down the road and a great place to fill your propane tank as well as grab some produce or misc items. Panama City is about an hour away for easy access to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to stay again!

Some of the nicest folks you will find as owner operators. We were here for two months. Nice amenities, laid back relaxing. Right on Holmes creek with kayaks as well. 20,, 30, 50 amp full hook ups. Book it!

This campground is very clean and well kept. The owners are welcoming and friendly. We loved the facilities and were able to do laundry right there. It was fun kayaking down Holmes Creek. My husband fished in the pond and played horseshoes. We had a great time feeding the birds at parakeetaville and riding our bikes around. Beautiful place to camp and relax. We will be back!
