Dr. Marc H. Levy, MD

I am a caregiver to an 86 year old woman who was referred to Dr. Levy. It was a horrible experience for my patient. Dr. Levy was rushing the whole time. She was there post stroke because her eyes were bothering her. His assistant did the eye exam and he simply looked at notes on his computer. He didnt examine her eyes and without explanation told her that her eyes were fine and she actually had arthritis in her neck effecting her eyes. With no explanation he said that he was going to do something to her neck. He didnt have any X-ray done nor did he use anesthesia. Dr. Levy rushed back in the room and proceeded to put eight injections in the back of her neck quite hurriedly as she expressed pain the whole time. He then told her to give her improvement a rating of 50% so Medicare would pay for it. She has been worse since this happened and has constant pain in the back of her head and headaches. I would NEVER recommend this supposed eye doctor. He also repeated that after all she was 86 years old. Her primary care physician was upset that this happened. Terrible experience!!!! I was present the entire time and it all happened so fast that we were both in shock.
