Victor was good to work with during installation of stone, plants, curbing and trees. We had an issue with one of the trees not surviving but this company stood behind their guarantee and replaced the tree. Services: Stone landscaping, Yard landscaping, Tree landscaping

Definitely listen to the other reviews. Quoted 16k to place curbing and stone but the final bill was 26k without ever attempting to provide additional quotes. I asked the question about whether or not the curbing would make the water drainage worse near my AC units. I was told we will take care of the drainage. Not sure what that meant but on the bill, there were several French drains installed without ever providing a quote in the amount of $3798.00. We had them trim our 5 Arica palms in our backyard. Without ever providing a quote, they completed the work and charged $2798.00. These same palms were trimmed by a professional company last year for only $350. Confronted Victor about this poor professionalism and the need to speak with customers first before charging an additional $10k on a bill the response I received was you didnt ask. Several of the items in question were never even discussed. With that being said, Victors crew is amazing. They provide quality work and do a great job cleaning up after themselves. For the quality of work I figured it to be fair to keep 3 stars for the review as Im not seeking to bash a company. Its just ashamed that customers are blind sided like this. After reading reviews, it is sad to see that we are not the only ones that were taken advantage of. After the counseling of a neighbor that is in the law business, we are currently proceeding under the advisement of legal counsel to discuss our options.

We wanted to put a shell pathway, with rip rap border and a few accents on river rock in our back yard. I got three estimates. The first to answer was A Cut Above the Best . Victor the owner, seemed professional,looked at the job and gave me a bid on the spot. The printed bill was not itemized. It seemed high, but we really had no clue what it would cost. He came back 2 days later to look again, asked us to sign the contract with a non refundable deposit of $1500. We hadn’t got the other bids yet but figured” how much more could they be”. We trusted that he would give us a fair price. Imagine our dismay the following day the other bids, completely itemized came in at $4500 difference. Both bids were competitive with each other.I called Victor to ask about the price differences. He stated that since he’s up there with the best he can name his own price. Of course there was no refunding deposit . He was scheduled 4 weeks out , so no material had been ordered. When asked for an itemized list for comparison he refused. I used a different company at half the price and was happy with results. Expensive lesson- be patient,do your homework and have everything itemized. Hoping my loss will be a warning to others.
