Liana of Venice

I had the opportunity to tour this facility. The cleanliness of the building and most of all the residents were engaged in activities, attentive staff were tending to needs. The ED and DON were also hands on with residents. Its so refreshing to go into a facility and see smiles on staffs faces. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering memory care.

I am a private caregiver. I was hired by a family to assist with companionship of there father to give their mother time for herself. As time went on I realized the father was declining as a result of Alzheimers. He was placed in Lianas and both I and the family are very grateful for the care and support needed for this transition in life. Recently we have moved his wife to Lianas because of her physical and mental decline. Lianas has been nothing but caring, loving, supportive and attentive to all of their needs. I highly recommend families check out Lianas for your loved ones care.

So disappointed with this place! Formerly Autumn Leaves - several ownership changes happened and name changed to Liana Living. Quality went WAY DOWNHILL. Recently I was sitting outside visiting my loved one and some guy walked in, chatting with us and informing us he was sent by new management to determine how to cut costs on meal program. That says it all - but in addition to that, I had to beg for meetings with management - no one was interested, no one proactively communicated, when I asked to meet with the director she was usually doing something else whileshe met with me, like paperwork or desk work. My loved one also was never clean - did not have basic hygiene, bedsores that weren't treated, and was so dirty there were skin infections. Hallways smelled like urine last time I went in - and moved my loved one to another facility.

They apparently sold to another company after they refused to do anything about the neglect and abuse my father faced under their care. Hopefully, they are doing a better job in FL than they were in TX  Not even an apology. DHHS in TX if you want to know.
