        Awesome that Florida provided free battery charging! However, at under 7kW charging, it took about 7 hours to charge our rental car Polestar-2 from 40 up to 100 percent. It was not conveniently located to where we were staying for our week-long vacation in Treasure Island, FL, so it was a big hassle to make sure the car was charged upon returning it to the rental agency. Also it took about 30 minutes to find an available charging station in downtown St Petersburg. The infrastructure has a way to go before we'd consider buying an EV. Would definitely install our own charging connection at home.
