Im constantly craving their brisket and bbq beans now that Ive had them. My kids loved the smashburger and Mac n cheese was super creamy. Service is great, food came out quickly, lots of flavor!

The menu for breakfast is not good, everything ala carte, even toast, the grits did not say they were cheesy grits which could create a problem for some people, th server, pretty sure has never waited on someone before, the poor girl, there was no sugsrvon the table, no creamer, just hazelnut creamer, and when we asked for more creamer she brought more hazelnut , they need a lot of work, my friend ordered sunny side up eggs, got fried eggs, which they corrected, but it just wasn't a great experience and probably won't go back, the breakfast menu is not good!

Went for dinner about a week ago & I must say I was so excited to have a new restaurant in Mims, no way 3 straight BBQ type food businesses fail right? ABSOLUTELY WRONG. First our waitress was mediocre at best, it was like she forgot we even existed. Secondly we waited nearly 40 minutes for our food (which they werent busy so I dont understand & The food was terribly cooked as well) , Third the food absolutely sucked. We got a little of everything, lets start with the special brisket over mac and cheese. The Brisket tasted like it was 2 days old and reheated in microwave. It was dry and rubbery (you wont survive in Mims as a restaurant if you cant cook a brisket). The Macaroni was okay. We also got the Salmon dinner, oh boy it was arguably the worst Salmon meal I have ever had. It was so over cooked with no seasoning at all, not even butter. It was just a tiny brick of fish that was over cooked; & even with how bad it was cooked and tasted, for the price they sell it at, it better be bigger than 2 bites lol (see photo) . The green beans we got on the side came out a can and clearly were heated up in a microwave (half hot, half cold) & the bacon wasnt even cooked how it should of been (more crunchy than chewy) . The Cole slaw was okay. Not the best but not terrible (this is the highlight of all the meals) . We also got a steak rare , it was cooked more medium rare than rare (no big deal, have to tell cooks nowadays rare because if you tell them medium rare they send out a leather shoe) it lacked any flavor ; The fries were okay. We also got a kids order of chicken tenders and they were actually really good. I must add the sweet tea was great, idk if its made there or if its pre bought but its good! All in all, I will not be going back especially at dinner. I see everyone boasting about their breakfast so maybe I will give that a try but only if the service isnt the same way as it was when empty during dinner. I personally do not see this restaurant lasting over a year (like the 3 before it) unless the owner has deep pockets that they dont mind taking losses. Hopefully it gets better because this was God awful.
