The Lemon orchard venue on the lake

It has taken a while to decide how to write this review. This venue is one of the most beautiful I have seen. We chose it because it offered everything we were looking for and it made me cry when we came to visit. We knew THIS was the place! We spent countless hours planning and building our perfect wedding, and it was, until it wasn't. Don graciously offered us the opportunity to rent the space the day before, so we had time to decorate. After we were finished, it was exactly what I had envisioned. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. The reception was perfect until about 9 pm (the wedding was supposed to get over at 10). That's when we decided to do the exit pictures a little early so that our friends and family that needed to leave a bit early could. Unfortunately, in that moment, DJ ruined the best day of our lives! She took it upon herself and told my catering staff to tear down my tables and chairs and to start cleaning up. She spazzed out (her words) and told my family we needed to get everything cleaned up while my reception was still going on! Even though we made prior arrangements to come back the next day to clean everything ourselves. This made for some terrible memories on one of the most planned for, time and effort put into, anticipated, expensive, and most importantly, happiest day of my life. We came back the next day to pick up everything, and she did apologize and gave some sorry excuse, but it didn't change the damage that had already occurred. Honestly, as beautiful as it started, I would never again choose this venue again because of how it ended. It cause so much distress that night that it has cast a shadow on our special day.

Don and DJ were incredibly helpful and accommodating in ensuring we had an amazing baby shower for our first child. They were consistently available and transparent throughout the process. Their assistance in setting up was invaluable, and they were exceptionally welcoming to our guests. The venue and farm are truly beautiful. Thank you, Don and DJ, for creating such a wonderful place for the community to make lasting memories.
