6 months ago $20 for a tire patch after I just gave you $600 to remove the cpu and ship to anther mechanic that actually does the work and ships it back for installation. They had my vehicle for 4 weeks, the first week it sat and nobody even looked at it Honestly can't be sure what was actully done ,they did not keep the broken parts for me so I just have to take their word for it on what was actually wrong with it and what was done. I brought it to them thinking a fuel pump relay or the security system needed reset or something simple, they're initial diagnosis was security system and proposed the chip in the key lost its programming and needed reprogrammed, then the CPU was the issue and it was going to take weeks to fix. After four weeks and $600 my truck was running and ready to go. But there's no bad parts or anything to show what work was actually done, how do I know that it wasn't something simple like a relay switch or security reset , was there really any new parts installed ? Any bad parts removed? Scott's tire and Jim's Auto as far as I'm concerned are the same place the same people work for both places both places are in the same building the same girl rung me up the same register for both the tire patch and the repair work. The tire went flat in your yard where it probably picked up the screw and I feel $20 for a patch is excessive especially after I just dropped 600 with you.
