We have gone to this place for several years but will not do so again. We were assigned Jocelyn last year and chose to stick with her this year since she had done our taxes before. We got there 15 mind early and were told by the guy at the front desk he would check us in and to take a seat and we'd be helped shortly. Well shortly turned into 45 mins without a word from anyone(the guy at the front desk had his face in his phone the whole time). There were 3 tax people there and they lady we were seeing had the only customer in the building besides us. The lady with her was on the phone with someone at her house looking for something she evidently forgot(if someone is missing documents and you have other people waiting that person should be asked to come back when fully prepared and not keep others waiting). We were just getting up to leave(my husband has a pain disorder and cannot sit around for long periods like that) when Jocelyn came out to inform us she was running behind(as if we hadn't figured that out already and btw she was also running late last year). We said we were leaving and she said she didn't know we were there. Really? You aren't aware you have a 5 o'clock appt? Did the guy at the front desk not check us in? Really her cubicle was right behind the front desk and he could've stuck his head over it and said your 5 o'clock is here it would've been that simple. My husband asked why we weren't put with someone else if she was behind, she claimed not knowing we were there again but did put us with another lady named Daniela. She was nice enough but extremely hard to understand due to her heavy accent(I had to ask her to repeat things the entire time). A big red flag came up when she asked if we were ok with our information being sent overseas! Absolutely not in any way are we ok with that! She said it's because the company has an overseas branch and they can store info there in case it's needed. No extremely sketchy not happening and shouldn't be a thing offered from a reputable company. We almost walked out again at that point. We didn't because we could opt out of it but still aren't comfortable that they would even do that. Anyway she did our taxes fairly quick(we were in the waiting room longer than we were with her). I do think their fee is ridiculously high also. And we paid it right then because if they take it out of your refund there is an additional charge for that! Lastly I used the restroom while there and there were roaches crawling on the bathroom floor! Gross and unsanitary. Overall we are not happy with this place and will not be back.
