I had a crown placed by Dr. Goodwin. She is amazing. Her staff was also great. I definitely recommend anyone who needs a dentist to go here.

I want to share my terrible experience with this dentist! I was supposed to have a non-invasive Maryland bridge conducted by Dr. Lyndsay H McCaslin. The procedure that was conducted was an invasive combination of a Maryland bridge and an inlay, which permanently cut into the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth. Immediately following the procedure, I informed the dentist of extreme pain. I had to go back the same day as the procedure, complaining of severe pain, and on four more occasions over the following week, this problem was only covered by painkillers. Due to a military deployment, I could not return until one year later. On that date, I informed Dr. McCaslin there was still severe daily pain. Expressions Dentistry initially refused to allow me to see anyone but a hygienist when I just drove 12 hours to see the dentist. They refused to take new X-rays, and when Dr. McCaslin finally came to view my teeth, she suggested there were potential microfractures in the tooth adjoining the Maryland bridge. Dr. McCaslin suggested a root canal of the adjoining tooth to deal with the pain (which I didn't need!) During the visit, I showed her pictures of a clear gap between the prosthetic and the adjacent tooth, and the dentist refused to acknowledge the apparent problem. Upon visiting two other dentists for a second and third opinion, the consensus was the prosthetic was not correctly placed, and there was a clear gap between the bonded tooth and the prosthetic. As a direct result, each time I attempt to bite down, the prosthetic moves and pushes on the nerve of the adjoining tooth. At this time, I still have pain anytime I attempt to eat or anytime during the day, and I will have to have an expensive and traumatic procedure to remove the improperly emplaced prosthetic. This will force my new dentist to repair the damage to the teeth and put in a new prosthetic. Additionally, the removal of the improper bridge can cause additional harm to her healthy teeth. Fourteen months of pain and stress later, my biggest regret is to have ever trusted Dr McCaslin!! PS: the two retainers made in that office broke after barely one month when I had Invisalign for two years and never broke any retainers!
