A place is only as strong as it's employees. I'm a Masculine male figure which is unusual in assisted living facilities. A woman who I worked with while I was just a month over being a new employee ignored me with Alllll the residence that demand female assistance after I called requesting for "Female assistance" numerous of times. The co-worker came while I was in a resident's room cleaning and putting them to bed and started yelling at me about one residents telling her I am supposed to put her to bed which was a lie bcus she never spoke to her!! So all in all the managers immediately listened to the woman with longevity but ignored me!! Mind you I just had no problems with Any resident and the managers Fired me off of what a Young adolescent mind led them to believe about me. The place is full of discrimination and only respect men who aren't with such masculine energy... They're Feminists & don't care for any input. Mind you I only had 1 warning prior to that which was due to lack of Help on Shift the first time!! The residence are beautiful people but the LEADERS AND some long term employees just don't give a care about nothing but HALFWAY DOING THE JOB!!

Chef Moss at Brookdale Tarpon Spring surpassed expectations with a Thanksgiving meal that was both culinary excellence and a heartfelt experience. My mother stated that she would never go to an assisted living facility and would either stay in her home or live with family. After her needs became too much for family, she went into Brookdale ALF in Tarpon Springs. She loves it which is a pure miracle. Anne, Josh, Humberto, Sharon, Teneshia have been very helpful in making my mom feel like she belongs. I was told it usually takes a month for residents to feel comfortable. My mom is going on her third week and told me the other day " I feel well suited for this place." Thank you God for Brookdale in Tarpon Springs and the caring, compassionate, and loving staff members. There is no place like Tarpon Springs Brookdale. Thank you Josh, Anne, Humberto, Sharon and Teneisha for your help with this transition for Clare.
