Marten Transport is a business. I've read several comments that complain about things that are CLEARLY in their policy handbook. I have had some issues with pay in the past, which were all mistakes by my fleet manager, not necessarily the company itself. All my issues were professionally handled by superior management and rectified each time. If you want this company to work well for you, then you should work well for the company. Follow the regulations and guidelines in your handbook, and I can assure you that you won't have any problems that can't be corrected. I'm happy with the company, and in comparison to a handful of other companies I've worked for, Marten is very fair, transparent, and kind. It's whatever you make it.

They fired me for using a gps on a dot certified mount. Then they put on the report use of a handheld device. Which makes it look like I was violating the law. They are ruining peoples careers or chances at other employment Ive never had an accident barely even a hard brake in the year I was there. I was shocked they fired me a week before Christmas. I love to drive and I do everything in my power to do it safely. The company has almost zero diversity in the front offices. It just sucks to be doing your job one day and let go for something youve been doing since you started there. Smdh.
