Tampa Eye and Specialty Surgery Center

The staff was very nice and patient with me and Dr lorenzen was amazing what he did for my cataracts. Everything went well and no problems from my right eye with really bad cataracts and moving to right the day after the surgery a miracle that my eye went back not from him. But, he was not sure if it would bit it did. I am soooo happy I can see again out of both eyes it's been 2 days so far and it's still growing strong. Still taking the eye drops as prescribed to. It even helps when you wear the glasses they give u. Thank you tampa eye surgical clinic

After reading all these negative reviews and I saw older gentleman's horrific eye picture. I won't even pass through the neighborhood. I won't even near by this click. I feel very sorry for the patient who is getting through pain and suffering. You are lucky I gave you 1 star

My father-in-law had his right eye done in September of 2022. The anesthesiologist gave him a pretty bad black eye with the numbing block. Against my better judgment we went back in October 2022 to do his left eye and this time the anesthesiologist nicked a blood vessel with the block that caused a hemorrhage making his eye nearly pop out of his head. We have waited nearly four months hoping he would heal but the pressure ultimately damaged his optical nerve causing permanent damage. My father-in-law had 20/60 vision in his left eye prior to the surgery, hes now 20/400.

Went in on Friday April 15,2022 for surgery, I forgot to take off my gold chain and at the last minute before going into the OR the nurse spotted it and took it off and put into a little bag. Later that evening at home I realized I did not have it. First thing Monday morning I called them and let them know I did not have my gold chain. They said they were not responsible for it ! We are talking about a gift from my wife that's has special meaning. I have checked with them on the phone and in person , they do not care and it is the cost of going there ! So a do not go there , if you do do not trust them with any of your valuables ! At this point I'm going file a report with the police department . John Scalise

I TOOK MY HUSBAND THERE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, THEY TOOK CARE OF HIM AND THEY DID A AWESOME, EXCELLENT JOB, THANK YOU TO DR FRANCES ACOSTA FOR DOING THE SURGERY, AND THE STAFF THAT TOOK CARE OF HIM DURING AND AFTER. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST NO PROBLEM THE SURGEON WAS ABLE TO GET AND REMOVE THE CATARACT FROM MY HUSBAND RIGHT EYE.THE ONLY THING IS THERE WAS A ALITTLE BIT OF A WAIT BECAUSE OF SOME PATIENTS NOT COMING OUT OF ANESTHESIA. BUT ALL IS WELL AGAIN THANK YOU. EVEN THE RECEPTIONIST IS A JOY TO TALK TO . THANKS ONCE AGAIN. THANK YOU
