Very friendly local pet store. Came on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 6:45 PM and the worker was very helpful and showing me and my son all the fish and guinea pigs and salamanders.

Owner Melanie is a bully to her employees and constantly pushes for the shelter cats and other animals in her care to be put down! Go anywhere else.

We stopped by Pet Depot to get our cat some food. The cashier Dre is so awesome! He let us hold a few animals while helping us out. Will definitely be coming back again.

The employees were friendly enough, and they seemed to have a good selection of products. However, I was disappointed by the lack of care put into the rodents, birds and reptiles. At least half of the enclosures looked like they had not been cleaned in several weeks. There was a very distinct foul smell in that area of the store, like soiled hamster bedding. Additionally, reptiles of widely different sizes were being housed together (baby beardies with larger beardies & small leos with big leos) which can be dangerous for the smaller animals. Many of the water dishes were filthy, or so filled with sediment that there is no way the animals could drink clean water from them. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day, but its disappointing to see animals in a pet store being treated like an afterthought. I felt very concerned about the condition of the enclosures.
