I recently was treated by Dr. Perenich and I can't express how grateful I am for the amazing care I received. From the initial consultation to the surgery to the follow-up, I was treated with respect and care. I fully recommend this practice to anyone and everyone.

The staff is amazing and does a great job explaining everything to you. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I've dealt with back issues my whole life & this has been the only place that figured it out. Kudos to Dr. Perenich, Amy and Ashley. I will recommend to everyone that has the need.

My wife had a horrible experience with this practice. Dr. Perenich is a very good surgeon and took the time to explain and educate my wife on her situation. My wife and I trusted Dr. Perenich to go ahead and proceed with surgery. It's what followed in the next several weeks that turned into a source of stress and frustration for my wife. A woman who calls herself Amy was very unprofessional and rude to my wife. Amy called my wife multiple times throughout the day that went all of the way up to 7p.m. at night. Would ask her for her lawyer's name and demand she pay in full, up front for her surgery and if she didn't, she would get combative and threaten to cancel her appointments. My wife had to constantly remind her that her situation is not subrogation and that she is a regular patient with a degenerative issue. My wife called on one occasion to ask where she can send her employer's paperwork that is required for medical leave and Amy gives her an email address and says to send it on over to her. My wife never hears back until a week later at 6:45p.m. at night when we are just sitting down to dinner and Amy states that she will not fill out this paperwork until my wife pays $50 up front first. My wife is upset at this point as she asked Amy why she didn't tell her this a week prior. My wife states that she needs time to think this over and Amy states that she has to hang up and will call back. She calls back and doesn't leave a message. At this point, my trust in this surgeon and his practice is diminished and I'm concerned of the behavior of this one particular staff person and how she treats patients who are customers. A few days goes by with no communication from this practice until, my wife is at work and she sees six missed phone calls from this practice with no voice mail message. My wife waits until I get home to call back and places them on speakerphone so I can witness how badly she is being treated. What happened next was unprofessional, rude and I would also say a form of bullying and harrassment. Amy proceeds to rudely argue and interrupt my wife. Threatens my wife to cancel her appointment for a brace fitting and surgery unless she pays for everything up front. Amy continues to argue and even talked down to my wife as if she were a criminal. She states "this is just how business is done here and I won't say that I entirely agree with it" After further consideration, my wife decides to cancel the surgery as she is beyond stressed over this experience. She is so upset that she asks me to call on her behalf and cancel the surgery. When I call, Amy tries to argue with me and then tells me "I was working on getting the $50 fee waived" I find that hard to believe and after this horrible experience, my wife made the right decision to no longer do business with this practice.

Business Response on Google Feb 28th, 2024
We are so sorry to hear your wife had a bad experience. Sadly, all copays and balances have to be paid before each visit. When a patient expresses that they are unwilling to pay the copay or deductible, then we have to cancel their appointment(s). The amount due is based upon an individual's insurance plan. We always let patients know that if there is an issue with the amount due to discuss with your insurance. We hope you find the care you are looking for!
