I have been going to optical outlet for over a decade for myself at different locations. I went to the citrus location and did not have a pleasant experience. I went to take my teen for his first time contact prescription exam. The assistants were all super friendly and patient with him through out the whole experience. But the actual doctor was not at all. I had to ask 3 times if my son can apply allergy drops while wearing contacts. At first he was dismissive second he said to me thats another appointment, not for this one. I still felt he didnt understand my question or he didnt care to answer any questions I had. Third time I asked he just simply said yes. Didnt look at the medicine that I had with me nor ask probing questions. I found it so odd how a professional was being this way. I explained it will be my sons first time wearing contacts so I dont know if he is allowed to take allergy drops while wearing them so he continues with yes. I asked should he take before or after and he simply continued with yes. Giving me no sense of validation that he is being receptive. Fast forward he mentioned how the assistant will do a practice with him to teach him how to put on and off. Which was great but come to find out he had to be in office while its being done incase of an emergency. After telling me, he immediately left for lunch for 1hr and 15 min. I was in shock for how long I had to wait. Forcing me to wait that long for him to come back. The assistant was super apologetic and understanding. Honestly if it wasnt for the assistant being that way it wouldve made the office visit even more unpleasant. Now my son is having issues with contacts and Im assuming because its the allergies. It would've been nice to be told that during allergy season contacts may result in blur vision or that the medication may not work effectively or suggest what is safe to use during contacts wear. Something more informative to address my concerns. But I did not. Very disappointed in the interaction with the doctor.

The best store to buy glasses. The girls are super friendly and help you with the entire process, and the delivery is super fast. I have been updating my family's glasses there for almost 4 years and they are the best.

Came in because one of the screws on my glasses was lost so I needed it replaced. Customer service was great! Jenner fixed it up quickly and tightened the other screw too!
