1/17/23 Update to Unknown Reviewer Response: the date has allowed the discovery of what you are reviewing- an indisputable cordial response folks otherwise express appreciation when received needing no fine tuning and it is posted below (for privacy protection, the actual services sought are redacted, everything else is publicly known and/or has been disclosed here by the reviewer): we received an inquiry sent by a 3rd party vendor, Psychology Today to our office email, on your behalf, where they attached your message inquiring to attain services our practice doesn't extend. These unmatched service inquiries originally received from a 3rd party vendor are set for deletion once the message is opened and/or a response is sent as there is nothing to offer that needs documenting for storage, but a one-way solo advisement response, extended out of courtesy, advising we can't help. This response is exclusively for the benefit of the person inquiring about care. We do so knowing that many providers just do not respond when there is no benefit in return. Additionally, using this method- via 3rd party vendor- for an inquiry to reach the provider's office, distinctively, gives the practice the option of responding if interested or as is the norm, discreetly, not acknowledge if it is fruitless, so there is no obligation or pressure by any means - not even a physical presence or phone conversation that would've elicit a need for a response, nor is there any financial gain by doing so; yet moreover, responding simply for the reasons that remain- in good will, only raises the risk of exposure to ill-intent and misplaced grievance-so it would be illogical to respond as claimed here. If otherwise, you feel this is a sincere review and either the provider or the practice manager was rude and abrupt, please advise of your real name and when you had such communication with the practice as your stated reviewer name, Barry Long, is not known, neither as a prior or current patient nor in an inquiry communication. This is a private, solo-provider, micro-practice so it consist of the provider and practice manager. Every patient is personally known as the patient/provider relationship is revered and only strengthens with each visit that's centered on patient need, providing real solutions and not guided by time. As for it occurring during an inquiry, the full written communication, would have been documented, incl. name, that's asked if not disclosed to continue, date and time logged as the phone is not used in a micro-practice for efficiency purposes, and at the provider's choice, for this type of claim resolution as one of the many benefits. Written communication holds full accountability-trackable and stored in the system, precisely to ensure no one is mistreated & if so, without resolve or may someone suffering with malice intent, unjustly claim as could stand with a phone discussion that easily lends to a "she or he said" situation.
