image Simply TV Mounting...went to store..1 guy working...waited 20 mins..then just went online to make Appointment..good so far... Appointment available online for next day...But then I get emails and text next day... apparently..just because you select an available appointment..does not mean the request will be fulfilled...Ok.. rescheduled...Now I need to add to Service Request (More Business for Best Buy)...try doing that online... Horrible...so back to store...wait in Geek Squad line...told..Oh..you need to go to Customer Service Line...while standing in line I was directed to... Service Clerk tells me...this line is for pick up only... Horrible...I'm telling you...if you own Best Buy stock...sell sell sell...

image If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I called the Geek squad to come out and look at my Sony TV that I purchased from Best Buy just three years earlier. For whatever reason the TV wouldn't come on. The technician came out to my house, but couldn't get it off the wall to even see what the difficulty might be. He said, " I will come back Saturday and bring an expert that knows how to remove the tv from the wall mount." I couldn't believe that the technician wouldn't be able to remove the tv from the mount and lacked the knowledge to do so. Saturday came and no-one showed up. I called the Geek Squad to find out that they never even scheduled an appointment for Saturday, but instead for the following Wednesday, which I was totally unaware. I asked to speak to a supervisor to which I was told would call me within 24 hours. Never heard from them either. DON'T USE THE GEEK SQUAD!!!! They lack expertise and customer service. I have two wasted days.now I'm now going to call a professional to look at my tv. You should as well!

image Bought a $1,500 TV from here with a two year warranty from Geek Squad. TV had dead pixels so I brought it in to get fixed by the advice from a Geek Squad agent who told me I’d have to pay $100 if I wanted them to come out, after telling him I was uncomfortable taking the TV anywhere. On arrival, they told me I’d either have to bring it back home because my warranty covers the $100 dollar visit or send it in to get fixed, which would take 3 weeks. Either way the wait time is 3-4 weeks. So my $1,500 TV with a warranty doesn’t have any type of replacement policy, it can only just be fixed. I didn’t spend 1500+200 for the warranty to have a broken tv fixed. I need a new TV. The customer service just said “too bad” pretty much and had no other resolution. I will never buy a product from Best Buy again in my life. Amazon just replaces things no problem, which is why Best Buy will probably be out of business within 2-3 years. Beware, if you ever buy a TV from Best Buy DO NOT spend the extra for Geek Squad, because the manufacturer will cover more than they do and in a more efficient manner.
