So I just got out Thursday last week and I would say the place is amazing for kids one thing that made me a little confused was why they switched my roommates room when we only had a 3 year difference which isnt a big gap difference and the food there was trash the eggs tasted like plastic

I witnessed a woman walking around for 3 days in a urine-soaked diaper, patients spoken to in a very angry, condescending way, prescribed medication being withheld and group sessions consisted of coloring pages and broken crayons. And Dr. Milian spoke to me in an accusatory tone and told me 'you arent going anywhere until i talk to your husband.' HE NEVER CALLED MY HUSBAND and i had to contest my hospitalization to be released. i received absolutely NO 'treatment.' AHCA needs to get involved.

i went to this hospital a few months back for a suicide attempt before coming to this hospital i had been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder so when i was admitted and spoke to the psychiatrist in the morning (which was like maybe a 5 minute conversation) i had informed her of that and explained what happened she proceeded to ask me if there was any history of mental health in my family i then mentioned my mom having anxiety but that was it and her response to that was well i bet she does having a daughter like you i think that is the rudest thing to say to someone who just had an attempt not even 24 hours ago and then she had also called to tell my mom that i blamed everything on her and that i was just trying to use my mental illness as leverage, on top of that no one cares about how you feel, there was a time when i started having a panic attack crying and went into the bathroom and no one stopped me no one asked me if i was ok no one cared.if you need a place to go grace point had the nicest staff always making sure you were ok engaged with the kids and all of the above on top of this when i was admitted to grace point the lady had just asked me to empty my pockets and then used a metal detector and that was it and had me change clothes in the bathroom but at this hospital the lady made me strip all my clothes off i began shaking and crying because of how uncomfortable it had made me and the lady had no emotions to her just looked at me with a cold expression just telling me to spin around and then to put my clothes back on i hated my experience there the psychiatrist name was Kristie M. Jetter, i would assume with learning everything she did in school she would know how to treat people with mental illness or just being a decent human being but clearly she doesnt care for the patients and is just there to do the job and get paid.

I was forced to stay a week and was not allowed to see any family. They strip searched me, changed all my medications to the point I could not walk, abused the girls I was with, and didn't let me see or speak to anyone I knew, no family or friends, and ignored my chronic illness diagnoses, including PCOS, denying me sanitary materials. I have never felt so alone in my life. This place is run like a prison and you can tell none of the nurses truly care about you. Avoid. It will only traumatize you further.
