    Just no. Although Dr. Chang was nice enough, this practice does not want to do anything to get to the root of the problem. They just want to give you a colonoscopy and/or endoscopy and call it a day. He more or less told me if we find nothing wrong during colonoscopy we label you with IBS and put you on meds. Although, IBS may be the case for many and maybe even me BUT the fact that they do not offer any other testing options to get to the root of stomach problems is baffling. I mentioned testing for SIBO, nope don't do it, need to go to USF. I mentioned testing for bile acid malabsorption, the "practice manager" never even heard of it. Meanwhile they said they would ask Dr. Chang and get back to me. It's been over a week and they have yet to get back to me about scheduling said colonoscopy or any other testing options. Basically they want to run up pricey procedures and put you on meds when all I want to do is get off of meds. The lady working the counter upon leaving was rude and barely paying attention to me. I changed pharmacies, gave her the details and she still sent script to the wrong one. I asked if there would be post appointment follow up or notes on the patient portal (like my other doctors do) and she said " I have no idea what's on the portal." Needless to say NO there are not any post appointment notes to refer to. This is also the same person that was supposed to call me back about scheduling the colonoscopy. Not a peep. Additionally I waited an hour for the doctor, after I was called to come in earlier. That being said he did give me time and appeared to want to answer my questions but mostly just kept pushing IBS and colonoscopy on me. While I was there two patients came in and said they have yet to hear back from the doctor regarding test results. So their follow up is just awful. I will be looking for a new gastro because if this is how they handle a simple appointment not sure I want to be put under with their guidance. I am finding a mix of Western medicine and functional medicine will be the way for me to go to get to the true cause of my stomach issues. I do not deny that at my age and with my issues a colonoscopy should be done. But it won't be done by this practice. I also want other test options and not to just be put into a "medical category box" for insurance purposes.

    I appreciate good customer service and during my visit last week this was not the case. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional; she canceled my appointment due to a balance on my account. I asked about the copay and she rudely ignored me and ask that day would you like to reschedule. I had to take a day off for that appointment yet I wasnt seen by anyone; I spoke with the billing office and they told me to write a letter to the supervisor because with the balance owed it didnt require a payment for the recent appointment. Yet I was refused service! Ive had a stomach concerns since December and its alleged its similar to food poisoning; I was given antibiotics but no changes. I need to see a DR immediately yet this office is not my first choice anymore. Please train the stuff on customer service and patient satisfaction; remove personal bias

    They misrepresented the day I could have my procedure completed. When I called back to reschedule around my work schedule, I was told that it wasn't possible after paying $40 for a useless consultation. I will never return or recommend this business.

    My review isn't a reflection on the support staff. They were wonderful helping me schedule under time constraints. My review is regarding the medical professionals and their lack of communication (which resulted in me paying $350 for an mri it turns out I never even needed). Completely agree with the previous review that Dr. Chang brushes aside concerns. Got a hernia? He's not interested in helping you with that. Dr. Chang is a nice guy, but your office visit will leave you unimpressed with his inability to listen, diagnose, and treat. The appts don't start on time, and the doctors are woefully unprepared when they do. I used their portal feature to get my results before my follow up apt. and witnessed this first hand; watching Dr. Chang react to my lab results on the spot. Which let me know he didn't even bother to look at my chart before he came in, and is literally doing it on the fly w/o even knowing anything about my situation. This made me even angrier I bothered to wait that long in the first place. Beyond frustrating experience. Wish I had never gone. Complete waste of time unless you need a routine scope. Don't go for any legitmate gastro issues that require proper diagnosis. They don't even take the time to listen to you (properly). The practice feels too busy, and the dr's seem too disorganized to focus on patients properly.
