Counselor Barb is extremely knowledgable, professional, and very easy to talk to. She has been a trusted colleague and mentor for many years. I have the utmost respect for her clinical skills and abilities. I highly recommend her as a Therapist. Dr Lofrisco is compassionate and highly trained in working with couples.

My husband and I received marriage counseling in March of 2020. During our sessions she would constantly cut him off to say things like "you just seem like you really don't want to be here" or "you seem like you're just done." She would laugh at what I shared and belittle me. Within the first 5 minutes of their individual session my husband decided he was no longer willing to work on our marriage. I knew something wasn't right, so I kept trying and eventually it came to light that my husband has been struggling with several mental illnesses that make him act out of character and disconnected. He is working with a personal therapist and is now fighting for our marriage with a very understanding and kind marriage counselor. I would not expect a counselor to diagnose someone in a couples counseling setting, but she didn't give him a chance to express any of what he was going through. Our new marriage counselor guessed both of his diagnosed mental illnesses within minutes of talking with him.

Counselor Barb has helped me through a really trying time in my life. She is patient, listens, and has given me some really good advice. I feel very comfortable opening up and talking to her. I highly recommend Counselor Barb.

I have truly valued my professional relationship with Barb LoFrisco. She is most knowledgeable and generous in her sharing of that knowledge. She expresses a deep desire to serve her clients well and seeks counsel herself, so she can give her clients the benefit of not only her own expertise, but that of her colleagues.
