I've had this insurance company for years. Never had a claim. In the cost of my insurances just went sky high.

Wow. I came here to complain about my initial experience with this company. I just signed up for their homeowner's insurance policy. A couple of days before closing I used a QR code to enroll in the insurance. There was no link to pay the premium online so I printed off the statement and mailed them a check for the annual premium. Twelve days later they sent me two pieces of mail. One was the statement for premium due and and second was a letter with a notice of cancellation! I check my checking account and it shows a pending transaction for this premium. Seriously? No email, no phone call, no other notification. just boom cancellation warning. This is no way to do business. I WILL BE SEEKING OUT DIFFERENT HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE NEXT YEAR. DO YOU HEAR ME NOW?

I honestly don't get these bad reviews for American Integrity because I have had nothing but tremendous help from them when needed. I have gone through two hurricanes insured with them. Irma and Ian. Irma got my roof and Ian got my siding and other stuff. Both were covered by AI without issue. I had a great field adjuster (that showed up on time) and the actual coordinator/claims adjuster Ayotunde Onabolu that I spoke with on the phone a few times was fantastic and so helpful! Yes my rates went up but they would have gone up no matter whom I insured with. Because of this, I am not leaving American Integrity. I am grateful to them for their great coverage and quick service! Feeling blessed compared to so many I don't like the rates that insurers are currently charging in Florida but at least I am with a company that covers their claims. I can't ask for more than that. As a post note (added) from my understanding, American Integrity is the only insurer in Florida that takes out a bond ahead of time to cover their claims (specifically for hurricane issues). Maybe that's why I have not had any trouble getting my house fixed.

I have got to say I am surprised at the number of bad reviews. Like many in FL I had significant losses from Iain. (roof, pool cage, damage to outbuildings and minor water damage inside. The adjuster came out on my schedule which was important as I travel a lot. The estimates were reasonable. I saw an error in a calculation and they fixed it. The claim went fairly smoothly compared to many of the stories I heard from my neighbors. The insurance market in Florida is a mess. Everyone's rates went up. Am I happy about it no. I did get quotes for comparison this year. One was quite similar and one was quite lower, but from a company I had never heard of and seemed new to the market. In FL I want a company that knows about hurricanes. Be an informed consumer. Make sure you have a good agent. Read and understand the policy and the different types of coverages.

As an agent I've worked with this company for years and am proud to represent them. No insurance company is perfect but I've found them eager to solve problems and proactively work with our clients.
