Dr. Crespo is an excellent doctor, very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of its staff, those who attend the patients by telephone. They need to have a small staff meeting, so they can be told how to treat a patient over the phone. in another way... Dr. Crespo is an Excellent Gastroenterologist. I recommend it, he have nothing to do with he's medical office staff.

Didn't even get past the unintelligent, rude staff far enough to schedule my appointment upon referral from my PCP. From the PCP referral, I called and gave my information to someone at this office. When that was complete they let me know someone else at the office would call me back to schedule the appointment. Really? Just schedule my appointment I thought. No one called back. The following week I repeated this process of which, again, no call back. After the third call, giving my information AGAIN, a very rude woman called me back to schedule the appointment. She was SO rude, of course let her know I will NOT be scheduling an appointment AT All, EVER with this office. Dr. Crespo, I'm quite sure you are a fine physician, however, you may wish to pay attention to the habits of your staff. You may increase your own income by just merely replacing your staff.

After waiting over 2 hours I was rushed, told to not eat dairy and ushered into a meeting room where they pressured me to have an endoscopy immediately. I declined as its very expensive and invasive after a SINGLE visit. After leaving Walgreens notified me I had a prescription the dr didnt even tell me about or how to use. This should have been my warning . I could write a NOVEL about the unfortunate personal experience Ive had but I will keep this polite and short Office staff including his wife (who is the manager) are short, rude and act annoyed with simple inquiries you may have as a patient. Be prepared to call at least 5-10 times before being answered ,be hung up on repeatedly and ZERO concern for critical issues. The dr will prescribe whatever pills without any explanation or information and then becomes insulted if you ask questions. They sell big cost procedures (the endoscopy suggested wouldnt have diagnosed my gallbladder issue, I had to advocate for myself) and the office authorizations are a MESS. Im dealing with a 3k charge issue as I write this I ended up in the ER because they schedule you out for 8 weeks no matter what. I had SURGERY with a different dr before I had my second appointment and he was even unaware of the procedure. With out waiting to hear current issues he informed me he wouldnt have done that but directed me to stay on pills even though that particular symptom has subsided. I was NEVER called back when I had repeatedly called the office to check for cancellations or when I phoned the emergencies number before going to the hospital. The dr or his partner never bothered to show or follow up. This dr will fire you and blacklist you if youre not happy with their poor care and if youre in an HMO you have to wait 3 YEARS to see a specialist in FL GASTRO network. I had canceled one appointment because I had surgery two days prior and then this last follow up after endoscopy since the billing issue is unresolved and I did so within the 48 hours but I WAS DISCHARGED as a patient. I was back in urgent care a week ago and now my appointment with a new GI was canceled just 5 days prior. Im honestly concerned if theyll give me my medical records as they would Monday bc of this review. My mom died from her stomach perforating, my granny had a bowl resectionI have been suffering a year with no information, diagnosis from this dr and no guidance. I guess patients that stay sick make more moneynow I will struggle to find another dr my insurance will take so I can get help. I thought drs took an oath to do no harm. Personally Im very disappointed and think they should be ashamed of this behavior.
