July of 2023 I wanted to install new flooring for my business. An employee named Sean recommended Aquaguard laminate with underlayment for my business. After the install of 1200 sq ft I noticed on the Aquaguard box it says the warranty will be void if I install underlayment underneath which i was told and recommended by Sean to do. I stopped by the store and even called and spoke to Sean. His only response was an apology for the recommendation and guaranteed the laminate is strong. Fast forward to now and there's chipping and warping. It is not waterproof. I called Floor and Decor and Sean is no longer working there. They told me to file a claim after I explained to them the issue and how I was recommended the underlayment and laminate and I would've never spent the extra money and time to install it. Well so far I've only received a run around and still voided warranty on the underlayment install with zero resolution. The workers act nice but I recommend somewhere else for flooring as they voided my warranty due to bad advice and did nothing about it.
