The initial front desk people were great. The maintenance people were great and cleaners were great. However, on the way out on Sunday morning, front desk was condescending after I told them that I broke a lamp. He then told me he was going to have to find out what to do, and got on the phone and went hiding in the back room. When he came out he told me they were going to keep my security deposit because the lamp was 480. He didn't even know what lamp it was. Not sure how he could have known how much every single lamp was and which lamp I broke without anyone telling him. As for the room, it was pretty nice but there was not a USB socket in sight. Every single socket was just electric. No phone in the room or anywhere to hook up a charging cable. The bed was okay. Reminded me of the beds from IKEA. The shared kitchen area was very nice and well stocked. Unfortunately I only had time to make coffee a few mornings.
Update: got unexpected call from management to speak to me regarding my stay. Tommy was unbelievably awesome. Thank you so much! I explained I don't like to leave negative reviews, just the one person kind of left me with a bad taste. However, based on all the other interactions and the phone call from Tommy, I do see this place has and strikes for excellent customer service. Keep up the good work!

Rooms: Modern, clean and fully equipped (washer, dryer, utensils etc).
Safety: Felt very safe here. My wife would feel safe walking alone.
Walkability: Easy walk to river, restaurants, bars, venues

10/10 amazing place to stay! The Building is great and the pool rocks. Thank you to all the friendly staff for making it an even better stay. Sarah at the front desk was so helpful and Tommy gave great recommendations for dinner. I am definitely coming back and recommend anyone visiting the Tampa area to give Roost Tampa a visit. Thanks again!

Rooms: Clean, cozy/beautiful decor, kitchen stocked with all necessary cooking/eating utensils, huge windows with amazing views.
Nearby activities: Across the street from the arena which made it super easy to attend the Lightening game. Enjoyed multiple restaurants nearby including walking to Sparkman Wharf and access to the free Trolley which was super convenient. .
Safety: I felt very safe at ROOST with requirement of apartment key to enter the building and even when using elevators or accessing pool areas. Along with surrounding location, it was very safe.
Walkability: Dont even need a car, walking distance to the arena, restaurants, grocery store, ice cream places, riverwalk and parks!
Food & drinks: The best coffee I ever had was at ROOST and it was complimentary to the guest.
Noteworthy details: Staff does a wonderful job operating ROOST. You can tell how much they all care about your stay and truly make sure you have the best experience with them.

First I should Thank, Griffin.
Very well-designed room with, a clean room especially the shower and restroom area,
The room has everything I need, a refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, and plenty of plates and glasses, etc.
Nice location
Like the gym and pool as well
Highly recommended
