AJAY VARANASI MD, TAMPA BAY DIABETES THYROID AND ENDOCRINOLOGY CENTER, TAMPA, FL

I was scheduled for a thyroid uptake scan, and the doctor did not tell me that I should avoid iodine for 4 weeks before the scan. I took 2 sick days from work to get this thorough test done. When I went to the hospital, I learned that I was supposed to be informed about the iodine by my doctor's office. When I scheduled a follow-up with Dr. Varanasi, I was told that they didn't know about this protocol, and recommended rescheduling in a month. Nobbody took any responsibility for not letting me know about avoiding iodine before the scan, and making me miss work for two days. Not even a simple apology!

What a wonderful caring team of true professionals! You can go here with confidence that your care will be the best available. I had read a few negative reviews and was somewhat hesitant to begin with, but am glad that I pushed through & went to see for myself. The negative reviewer felt she wasn't heard, but some folks go on & on after consulting Dr. Google and are impossible to please. My condition was and is managed with care, compassion and has consistently improved with the care I've received.

Dr. Ajay Varanasi is a great physician, he takes my care seriously, even when I dont always seem too. He listens and doesnt rush me out of the office and thats not always the case at other doctors offices. I highly recommend Dr. Ajay Varanasi!
