Our commercial pool needed soil stabilization around the deep end and deck. The crew was professional and quick, explained the process, and left the site in perfect condition. Highly recommend!

Jay and the crew from Helicon timely, professional and kept their promise that I would not be able to see where they had repaired my foundation. I highly recommend this company for foundation questions and/or work needed.

Helicon replaced 5 helical piers as suggested by their engineers report after inspection..I will continue to monitor for next few months, after all...there are 6 original helical piers still in. ... inspected. Helicon also sent their engineer on 10/20/23. He will report back to Helicon Today 10/25. Have not heard from Helicon. Awaiting their proposal and/or resolution. Will then consult with my engineer.......... STAY TUNED Awaiting inspection by independent structural engineer next week. Stay tuned After Much frustration and Helicon taking no responsibility,I am hiring independent structional engineer. DM give me plan for chemical injection around the entire perimeter. 10K May 2023 I requested consult/estimate from Helicon when I notice a crack (wall across ceiling above my bed). I thought there had been a small crack there before, so I was not overly concerned. July 2023 I now see the crack getting longer. I take a closer look at the wall behind my bed (my bedroom is directly over where the 3 helical piers were installed right side of house). Now I see brand new cracks, 2 on the wall from floor halfway up, 1 on the corner of the window. I look at the exterior wall from my bedroom, well there appears to be new and wider cracks. August 2023 After calling Helicon, D.M. returns to review the issue. I showed him the interior (new cracks in my bedroom wall and window) and exterior wall of my bedroom. D.M. inspected exterior perimeter of the house. He determined that the issue was caused by the right wall (bedroom and garage) on the opposite side of house. He then presented the solution: A chemical injection around the back right, side right, across the front, and down the entire left side perimeter (including where the 3 Helical Piers are) . however, he was not going to charge me for the injections over the Helical Piers. Cost to 9661.50 Im no engineer, but this did not sound quite right to me. I, of course sought other opinions. After emailing my thoughts and complaints to D.M. and J.S., I received a call from J.S. the following day. I had heard and read that Helical piers dont really fail unless it is either: Bad installation or Bad design. After a slightly contentious phone conversation, J.S. said he would come and verify that the Piers were still good. If this was supposed to ease my worry or come to any kind of solution, it was a total failure. When I showed J.S. the design that D.M. proposed he stated, thats not right, evidently the standard is NOT to use chemical injection with helical piers? After I showed J.S. both interior and exterior cracks he had the following observations: The cracks were cosmetic The cracks had not spread he has seen cracks spread 1 or 2 inches. They (Helicon) had addressed and fixed my initial concerns. Maybe there should have been more piers. I asked him for a written proposal/solution, he said I dont do that When he again said the cracks were cosmetic I said they are NEW cracks. He then said Im not going to be yelled at" and abruptly left the house. BOTTOM LINE: its easy to write a great review right after the work is completed. The true character of a company shows when there is a problem after completion on the job. I now find myself worrying about not only the foundation, but sinkholes. D.M. was sure certain that there was no sinkhole, do I trust that? To be continued Q B, I just read your review and I feel your pain! I originally gave Helicon a great review, (2 years ago)...STAY TUNED for my updated review! 20000.00 later,new cracks, new sales pitch,$$$. UPDATE......2024 January. Helicon, after report findings from their Structural engineer..agreed to replace 5 helical piers with push piers. Felix and his crew completed the job. They actually explained everything as they were working. A great team Felix! There are still 6 original helical piers in place....am I 100% confident about them?? Only time will tell...that is why I will not update my original rating just yet. We will continue to monitor for the next few months.
