Journey Church

Journey Church has become a second family for my husband and I! We have both learned so much from Pastor John and everyone else around us. This church has truly helped us get even closer to God. We couldnt imagine calling anywhere else home!

Absolutely love this church! I went one time per a suggestion from a friend, and quickly became a member of the church. Such an amazing pastor and worship team here! The music performed by the worship team is one of the bright spots of my week. They are always playing great Christian music and are a super talented group! Pastor John is remarkable! I can't say enough great things about the sermons. They continually leave you engaged and seeking a deeper relationship with God. Excellent small group options here and they are always hosting events to give back to our community and beyond, which I highly value. Journey Church and everyone that attends always makes me feel welcome and right at home, like a family. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great church to call home!

Just moved to the westchase area and wanted to find a church in my area. I Googled ones near me and they were the first one I checked out. I listened to pastor John speak and everything he said resonated with me. I've been going ever since. Got baptized there. Volunteered at a view events and everyone was really nice. I moved here for work and was let go after 3 months and no Indication anything was wrong. I had a hard time finding work so I reached out to them for prayers or any type of help. After a month or so and running out of money I started panicking. Finally I started getting interviews and got 3 offers right before I ran out of money to pay my rent. I planned on accepting the offers which weren't bad but I had reservations about mostly the travel. I got contacted in the 25th hour by a gentleman who the church contacted me with and wouldn't you believe it, it was an amazing offer and even better it is only 20 minutes from my apartment. There us no doubt in my mind God wants me in westchase but most importantly at Journey church. I recommend anyone who is looking give them a chance. A true family atmosphere with genuine people. I'm excited for my journey with journey.
