Hello - we wondered what happened to you... As we recall, a few weeks ago you stopped in to the store looking for a new rug to replace a 3x5 plush rug you purchased from us in December. You told us you were concerned how the rug was 'wearing'. Instead of purchasing a new rug, we suggested you bring the plush rug previously purchased in to the store so we could look at it and resolve any issue you were having with the rug. We never saw or heard from you again (until now). We have been in business 40 years, and have always warrantied ALL of our rugs for a minimum of one year. At the time of your visit, we also explained that possibly (although we did not have a picture of the rug) what you were seeing is the traffic pattern from a high traffic area (now seeing the picture for the first time, this is, in fact, what we are seeing - a easily resolved issue). We shared that a very plushy rug that is used and walked on in just one area continually, needs to be cleaned/rotated on a regular basis if you want it to look 'the same' as the areas where there is no foot traffic at all. Having the rug cleaned was one option, but we wouldn't know if there was some other unknown issue until we saw the actual rug. We went on to discuss that a traffic pattern (sometimes mistaken to be wear pattern) can be the 'trade-off' when someone decides to put a very plushy, shaggy rug in an area that gets high traffic just in certain areas of the rug. This result can be exacerbated when such a small rug is chosen for a high traffic living area. This is not a 'defect' or an 'issue' with the rug. However, at the time you stopped in, not seeing the rug or a picture, we could not assess what was the actual problem. That's why we suggested bringing in the rug so we could help you with your concerns.
